How It Works
We provide you with chickens, a coop, bedding, and 2 bags of feed to get you started. We are able to deliver to: Fremont, Milpitas*, San Jose, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell, Willow Glen, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Mountain View and Los Altos. If you are outside of this area, please message us and we may still be able to deliver to you for a small additional fee. Chickens are only available for rent through the months of March-September
*Milpitas residents please note you must obtain a permit from the city to have chickens on your property
Chickens
Chickens are flock animals and must have a chicken companion. We have different options for how many chickens you would like, with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6.
Coops
Coops are provided and set up for you! Coop size is dependent on how many chickens you are renting. Feeders and waterers are also included
Feed
We provide 2 bags of chicken feed at the beginning, and then you are responsible for buying feed after that. All of our chickens eat Kalmbach Henhouse Reserve which can be purchased on Chewy.
